what FPS games do you recommend ?

hi, im still addicted to battlefield2, ive played battlefield 2142 but dont think its as good ( i dont like all the futuristic stuff ) i just want to know if anyone knows of any good FPS game (not like halo) that i could try that try to be as real as possible (kinda like metal gear solid, or battlefield 2 ??

I agree on that, I never liked futuristic thingie either. Just plain simple like battlefield 1942 is brilliant enough for me. Something like counter strike?.

Try Call of Duty 4. It features modern combat.

But don't expect it to be as wide and versatile as BF2. In BF2 you can fight on the ground, fly airplanes, ride trucks, drive tanks etc. BF2 is like a complete warfare game. COD4 on the other hand only let you play on the ground with some guns and bombs.

I've been playing Brothers in Arms for now, its pretty good; i cant wait until the new Socom comes out for the PS3.

Try Call of Duty 4, Gears of WAR, Frontlines: Fuel of War (Awesome gameplay you will blown off with the graphics).

If you like a fast-paced shooter try Warhawk. It's not a FPS but you should take a look at it. It has the things that BF has such as many vehicles, planes, etc. And it's a very fast game.

Counter Strike is one of the most popular FPS around but COD4 seems to be taking over the FPS world. I've seen more and more CS players switch to COD4.

i suggest cod4(obvious)....also try bioshock, its quite a good one although a bit dark, but gameplay and storyline is quite good.

if you wanna go for multi - player go for unreal-tournament 2004, or any of the counter strike series(they are a multiplayer favourite)

yu might wanna check out splinter cell

*another tip which ever game yu planning to buy, youtube it and check out its gameplay and people's views itll help yu a alot in deciding
