Jerk reports security rupture, requires secret word change

Jerk has reset passwords and stream keys, obliging clients to make new ones, in the wake of finding

 

Jerk sent to records it accepts were compromised by the assault. The email cautions that the client's email address, secret word, "constrained Mastercard data," the latest IP address used to get to Twitch, and certain anecdotal points of interest, if gave, were uncovered.

 

"While we store passwords in a cryptographically ensured structure, we trust it's conceivable that your secret key could have been caught in clear content by vindictive code when you signed into our site on March 3," Twitch told the clients.
